IIDEX/NeoCon Canada is an annual trade show and conference that serves the interests of interior design, architectural, facility management, real estate and business communities. IIDEX/NeoCon Canada provides a national forum for attendees to network with suppliers and participate in industry events and awards programs, while enjoying the benefits of a world-class conference program.
History
ARIDO founded this premier design event in 1984 and in 1998 contracted Merchandise Mart Properties Inc. (MMPI) to produce and manage IIDEX/NeoCon Canada. In 2005, ARIDO purchased and added the Canadian Facility Management & Design Expo and Conference to create Canada's largest exposition and conference for the design, construction and management of the built environment.
Statistics
The show now has an attendance of over 15,000 interior designers, architects, facility managers, business executives, developers, manufacturers and other individuals involved in the design and management of the built environment. IIDEX/NeoCon Canada features over 300,000 sq. ft. of exhibit space, over 350 exhibitors, international keynote speakers and over 100 CEU-accredited seminars.
Light Canada
IIDEX/NeoCon Canada in partnership with the Illuminating Engineering Society, Toronto Secition (IES) will showcase the latest in interior, exterior, commercial and architectural lighting products plus lamps and lighting controls in 15,000 square feet of exposition space. With over 100 new Canadian and international exhibitors, Light Canada will deliver not only cutting edge design, but will also showcase the monumental advances in sustainable lighting, LED technology, new materials and advances in lighting design.
NEW FOR 2009 -- Green Building Festival co-locates with IIDEX
ARIDO and IIDEX/NeoCon Canada are pleased to announce the addition of the Green Building Festival (GBF) as a co-located show with IIDEX/NeoCon Canada Exposition and Conference 2009. IIDEX/NeoCon Canada and the Green Building Festival have forged a strategic partnership to advance the educational opportunities on sustainable design and architecture. Together they offer an expanded range of exhibitors focused on sustainability, and will develop site tours to create one of the largest green building and design events in Canada.
The Green Building Festival will present their conference on September 23 and 24, and will hold a co-located exposition with IIDEX on the 24 and 25. As a leader in sustainable design, IIDEX/NeoCon Canada provides a platform for our community to access the latest sustainable products, services and educational offerings. The IIDEX/NeoCon Canada mandate is to continue to collaborate with existing and new environmental stakeholders to create the most comprehensive trade show and conference on sustainability and the built environment in North America.
